Wow. Haven't updated since last August? Hmm, sounds like life chugged on, huh?

Well, lots of things have happened since then. Think I matured a bit. (Most of it is probably wishful thinking). LOL.

It was a bad year. I think that's the way to put it. Most people would concur. They would say I had an amazing year. Won the SC playwriting contest, and a National Harper Teen Creative Writing contest. Put on two plays (both of which I also wrote). And I managed to totally fail with all the love stuff.

See, I think I matured in the sense that I'm better at writing the damn love stuff. At least then it goes my way. And I think I realized that I shouldn't have ever looked for it in the first place. That there are other things out there infinitely more important, and what is one more year without the kiss to end all kisses? (Pun intended. Wesley/Buttercup FOREVER.)

I think I kinda understand a bit better what exactly I'm doing here. Why I'm not searching for Something Real. Because, in the end, I don't think it's worth much. What is a single kiss opposed to year of bliss and happiness? What are a thousand heartbreaks against a single shoulder to lean on?

Exactly.

I had a bad year. It took me a bad year to realize all the good I had going for me. And yeah, I pissed a lot of people off. I treated a lot of people badly.

...The world just needed to give me a good shake on the shoulders and tell me to grow up.

I just needed to mature, or else I would've gotten left behind.

So I think I'm a bit different from my last journal entry. A bit more patient. Happier. Not blissful --- but enjoyable. Hell, I even smile a little more now too.

And no, I am not yet a lesbian. And probably never will be.

I like men a bit too much.
